At its core, our XR application is a multifaceted tool crafted to cater to the diverse needs of agricultural stakeholders, both internal and external. Comprising four distinct components – the Mobile Demonstration Platform, Mobile Public Platform, VR Platform, and Centralized Backend Service – our application embodies innovation, accessibility, and administrative efficiency.
The Mobile Demonstration Platform serves as the cornerstone of our application, providing internal teams with an immersive learning experience unparalleled in its depth and interactivity. Through the platform, users can delve into a virtual landscape where advanced agricultural practices come to life. From exploring cutting-edge technologies to mastering sustainable farming techniques, the Mobile Demonstration Platform offers a hands-on approach to education, empowering users to engage with agricultural innovations in a meaningful and impactful manner.
Beyond the confines of organizational boundaries, our Mobile Public Platform extends the reach of agricultural knowledge to the wider community. Accessible to all via a user-friendly mobile application, this platform serves as a gateway to sustainable farming practices, fostering awareness and appreciation among diverse audiences. Whether in urban centers or rural communities, the Mobile Public Platform acts as a beacon of knowledge, bridging the gap between agricultural experts and the general public.
Introducing an exciting dimension to our XR application is the VR Platform, a multiplayer experience hosted on the Meta platform. Designed to enhance learning and information sharing, this immersive environment allows users to engage with agricultural concepts and innovations in a collaborative virtual space. Linked seamlessly with the centralized backend service, the VR Platform offers an interactive and dynamic learning experience, facilitating real-time communication and collaboration among users.
Driving the seamless operation of our application is the Centralized Backend Service, a robust administrative tool designed to empower users with control, flexibility, and efficiency. From content management to performance monitoring, the backend service provides administrators with the means to tailor the XR experience to their specific needs. With features such as real-time updates and analytics tracking, the backend service ensures that our application remains dynamic, responsive, and aligned with organizational objectives.
The objectives of our XR application are as diverse as the stakeholders it serves.
We conducted comprehensive photo shoots of the Sri Lankan Parliament, capturing high-resolution 360-degree images of all public locations. Our editing process involved meticulous stitching and enhancement to ensure seamless transitions and stunning visual quality.
In addition to 360 images, we captured detailed 2D photographs of artifacts and points of interest within the Parliament premises. These images underwent thorough editing and optimization, ready to be integrated into the interactive hotspots.
Aerial drone footage was captured to provide users with unique perspectives of the Parliament building and its surroundings. This footage adds depth and context to the virtual tour, enhancing the overall user experience.
